Artisan Info: "My name is Parichat Chompoorat and my nickname is Por. I was born in Chiang Mai in 1983. My father has a drinking water business and my mother stays at home to take care of me and my younger brother. We love each other so much in my family. "In 2005, I graduated from Rajamangala University of Technology with a major in accounting. I worked as an accountant at a factory for a year but I felt like it wasn't the right job for me so I resigned. Today I'm working full time at a language school and making leather bracelets as a hobby, but I really do enjoy it. "I started making leather bracelets because of my mother. She took a course and I thought it would be nice if I learned from her. So I asked her to teach me and now I craft leather bracelets to sell. "My designs are inspired by everything around me.
